Jianli City People's Hospital
Jianli People's Hospital was established in 1950 and is a tertiary first-class comprehensive hospital that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and research. The hospital is affiliated with the Three Gorges University, the Union Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the People's Hospital of Wuhan University, and the Central South Hospital of Wuhan University. It is a member of the medical alliance with Hubei Provincial Cancer Hospital, a teaching internship and employment base for Yangtze University, an internship teaching hospital for Hubei University of Science and Technology, and a national baby-friendly hospital. In 2020, the hospital's party committee was recognized as an advanced collective in Hubei Province for its efforts in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the hospital completed a total of 850,000 outpatient and emergency visits, a year-on-year increase of 18%; discharged 48,600 patients, a year-on-year increase of 24%; performed 15,000 inpatient surgeries, a year-on-year increase of 23%; and achieved medical revenue of 620 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%.
To further improve the patient care environment and expand the hospital's development space, with strong support from the municipal party committee, municipal government, and higher-level authorities, our new hospital area officially opened in May 2014, covering an area of 187 acres, with a total construction area of 90,000 square meters, and a total of 1,276 beds available. There are currently 27 clinical specialties, 29 nursing units, 16 clean operating rooms, 18 fully enclosed ICU beds, and multiple examination and treatment units including interventional therapy, endoscopy, blood purification, delivery, and tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The hospital is equipped with a large number of advanced diagnostic and treatment devices, including the American GE 1.5T MRI, German Siemens 64-slice CT, medical linear accelerator for dual-photon tumor radiotherapy, and Philips bi-directional flat-panel angiography machine.
