Nanhai District No. 8 People's Hospital in Foshan City, formerly known as Danzao Hospital in Nanhai District, is located in the renowned "Hometown of Kang Youwei" in western Nanhai. The main hospital is situated to the north of the new urban area of Danzao Town in Nanhai. It is connected to the main traffic artery, Guidan Highway, with only a 30-minute drive to Chancheng District and Guicheng in Nanhai, and a 45-minute drive to Guangzhou.

The hospital currently consists of the main hospital, Jinsha Branch, and 14 community health service stations, covering an area of 55,000 square meters, with a building area of 60,000 square meters. The hospital has a history of 53 years, and the main hospital of Danzao was built in 2001 with an investment of nearly 100 million yuan by the Danzao government as one of the key projects for the people's livelihood, planned and constructed according to the standards of a secondary hospital. The main hospital covers an area of 51 acres, with a building area of 28,000 square meters, completed and put into use in July 2003.
