Panzhihua Central Hospital was established in 1965. Panzhihua Central Hospital operates under the "One Hospital, Two Districts" model, with the Vanadium-Titanium High-tech Zone campus and the Huashan campus. The Vanadium-Titanium High-tech Zone campus covers nearly 200 acres, with a building area of 132,600 m2, and the first phase has 980 beds; the Huashan campus covers 92.59 acres, with a building area of 124,100 m2, and has 1,496 beds, with 2,000 open beds. Currently, it is equipped with over 20 sets of high-precision medical equipment, including the Da Vinci surgical robot, PET-CT, spectral CT, 3.0T magnetic resonance, dual-source spiral CT, linear accelerator, after-loading radiation therapy machine, and Brainlab surgical navigation system, among others, with 108 medical devices worth over 1 million yuan. In 2021, the hospital provided outpatient services to 1.138 million (visits), inpatient services to 73,600 (visits), and surgical services to 22,000 (visits). Level 4 surgeries accounted for 22.71% of total surgeries; minimally invasive surgeries accounted for 21.52%; and difficult and critically ill patients accounted for 26.02%.
