Hubei Xianning Xian'an Power Supply Company was established in 1966. It is a "national first-class power supply enterprise," "state-owned large-scale first-class enterprise," "advanced unit in national spiritual civilization construction," "civilized unit of State Grid Corporation," and "best civilized unit in Hubei Province." The company has power supply units under its jurisdiction, including five county (city, district) power supply companies: Xian'an, Chibi, Jiayu, Tongshan, and Chongyang, as well as the Tongcheng Electric Power Company under its management. The company directly manages 18 units, including the substation center, transmission center, distribution center, repair and installation department, information communication center, Customer Service center, electric energy metering center, and training center. There is a total of 1 500 kV substation, 1 220 kV substation, 32 110 kV substations, and 39 35 kV substations within the city, forming a power grid system with 220 kV lines as the hub, 110 kV lines as the framework, 35 kV lines as the main body, and 10 kV lines as the network.
