China Huadian Corporation Harbin Third Power Plant
Hua Dian Energy Co., Ltd. Harbin Third Power Plant is a power plant located 6 kilometers east of the old Hulan District in Harbin City. The power plant currently has 1,650 employees, was established in 1984, with the first phase consisting of two 200MW units and the second phase consisting of two 600MW units, totaling an installed capacity of 1600MW, all manufactured by Harbin Electric Group. In 2002, it was assigned to China Huadian Corporation, and in December 2004, it became a wholly-owned power plant of Hua Dian Energy Co., Ltd. In 2008, it implemented combined heat and power construction, providing heating for Hulan District and Songbei District, with a heating area exceeding 18 million square meters. In 2017, it achieved the delivery of industrial steam to Harbin New District. The plant was awarded the title of "National First-Class Thermal Power Plant" in 1999, entered the ranks of excellent power generation enterprises of Huadian Group in 2004, and was awarded the "Four-Star" thermal power generation enterprise title by Huadian Group in 2012.
