Gansu Electric Power Investment Daron Power Co., Ltd. has adopted Baoxing Electric Power UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to provide power protection for its network cabinet and dispatch communication cabinet at the Chengzigou Hydropower Station. Chengzigou Hydropower Station is currently one of the largest power stations built by Daron Company, with a total installed capacity of 115,000 kilowatts. It is designed to use a flow rate of 259.5 cubic meters per second, with a design head of 50.3 meters, and an average annual power generation of 463 million kilowatt-hours. It is classified as a medium-sized hydropower station and is one of the major construction projects in Gansu Province. The construction and operation of this power station are of great significance for optimizing the local energy structure, meeting peak regulation needs, and promoting local economic development.

However, this hydropower station is also one of the toughest challenges faced by the people of Daron. The most challenging project in the Chengzigou Hydropower Station is the 17.2-kilometer-long water diversion tunnel, with a maximum excavation diameter of 12.5 meters. This is currently the longest flow diversion tunnel for power generation of its scale in the country. The entire project involves 2 counties and districts, 4 towns, 9 administrative villages, and 19 natural villages in Longnan City, making it one of the longest, largest, and most dispersed projects in the construction of cascade power station projects.

The application of the UPS system provides reliable power protection for the construction and operation of the hydropower station.
