The Zhiganglaka Hydropower Station is the first national-level medium-sized hydropower station in China wholly funded by foreign investors. It was jointly constructed by Hong Kong Zhenxing Group and American AES Group, making it the largest foreign investment project and key engineering project in Qinghai Province.
