Vietnam Yongxin Coal-fired Power Plant
In recent years, as the global demand for clean energy has gradually increased, traditional energy sources such as coal have been increasingly restricted. However, in some developing countries, due to the rapid growth of energy demand and insufficient investment in new energy, traditional energy remains one of the main sources of energy. Against this backdrop, Chinese enterprises have gradually taken on the mission of providing clean energy to these countries.
The Vinh Tan coal-fired power plant is a large coal-fired power plant invested and built by Chinese enterprises, located in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam. The construction of this power plant is jointly invested by China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., China Power International Co., Ltd., and Vietnam Coal and Power Company Limited, and is constructed by Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Thermal Power Engineering Co., Ltd., both under China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. The power plant is planned to build two 620,000 kW supercritical coal-fired units, which, when fully completed and put into operation, can provide approximately 8 billion kWh of electricity annually, providing important energy support for Vietnam's economic development.
