The Baoxing 100KVA industrial UPS ensures the monitoring system of the Taiping Bay Hydropower Station, providing stable and reliable power supply for the station. The Taiping Bay Hydropower Station is one of the large hydropower stations built through cooperation between China and North Korea, located at the confluence of the Yalu River and the Pushi River at the border of Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China, and North Pyongan Province, North Korea.

The design and construction of the station are the responsibility of China, and after completion, it will be managed and operated by the Chinese side. The station has four hydroelectric generating units, with a total installed capacity of 190MW, capable of generating an average of 720 million kWh annually. The station primarily focuses on power generation while also considering the needs of downstream shipping, domestic, and industrial and agricultural water usage, making it an important energy base and a key national project.

The station's hub buildings consist of a dam, overflow dam, riverbed-type plant, and substation, with a concrete gravity dam design. The total length of the dam top is 1185.012m, and the dam height is 31.5m. The station is classified as a low-head, high-flow hydropower station with a riverbed-type plant, equipped with four units of model ZZ560a-LH-800 propeller-type generators, designed for a head of 12.6m, a maximum head of 15.5m, and a minimum design head of 12.3m. The design head of the station is reasonable, which helps improve the power generation efficiency.

To ensure the normal operation of the Taiping Bay Hydropower Station, the Baoxing 100KVA industrial UPS is applied to the station's monitoring system, providing stable and reliable power supply for the monitoring system. This UPS system uses advanced technology and equipment, featuring high efficiency, low noise, and low electromagnetic interference, capable of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the monitoring system during sudden power outages or other power failures, preventing equipment damage and data loss due to power failures.
