Lipan Expressway
The Lijiang-Panzhihua Expressway is an important part of the G4216 Chengdu (Rong) Lijiang Expressway, serving as the expressway from Lijiang City to Panzhihua City. This section of the road starts from Futian Town in the Renhe District of Panzhihua City (Chuan-Dian border), passes through the West District and East District, and ends at Jinjing Town in the Renhe District, connecting to the Jingkun Expressway from Panzhihua to Tianfang.
The Sichuan section of the Lijiang-Panzhihua Expressway, specifically the Panzhihua section, is the last segment of the fifth north-south vertical line (Yibin to Panzhihua) in the "Sichuan Provincial Expressway Network Planning (2008-2030)." The roadbed width is 24.5 meters. The Panzhihua section has 44 large bridges, 2 extra-long tunnels totaling 6360 meters, 1 long tunnel measuring 2636.5 meters, seven medium and short tunnels totaling 3017 meters, 3 general interchange interchanges, 1 hub interchange, 5 separated interchanges, 1 service area, and 1 mainline toll station. The bridge-tunnel ratio reaches 62%.
